Xindao ISO 14001 certified
Promotional product supplier Xindao has passed the ISO14001 certification.
The Xindao office in Shanghai has passed the audit from TUV Rheinland according to the ISO14001 standard on the 18th of July.
ISO 14001 certificate
Xindao has obtained the ISO 14001 certificate (ISO: International Organisation for Standardization) for their Shanghai office where currently 120 people are employed. The audit was executed by TUV Rheinland. On all points reviewed, such as environmental policy and management review, legal requirements and quality assurance (Xindao also has the ISO9001 certification), Xindao was evaluated excellent.
The certificate
The ISO 14001 certification is a definition of the organization’s environmental policy and ensure that,
within the defined scope of its environmental management system, it
a) is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services,
b) includes a commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution,
c) includes a commitment to comply with applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to
which the organization subscribes which relate to its environmental aspects,
d) provides the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets,
e) is documented, implemented and maintained,
f) is communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of the organization, and
g) is available to the public
Herewith Xindao is the first promotional product supplier in China to obtain the ISO 14001 certification and is consistently engaged in its business model to the principle of environmental friendly entrepreneurship according to an international standard. Since 1999 Xindao is already ISO 9001 certified and therefore yearly audited by TUV Rheinland.
Future
Xindao will develop a wide range of products in its collection to emphasize the environmental awareness. To communicate this, Xindao will start a campaign towards distributors called; “Give more, take less” which also can be found in its winter catalogue 2008.
